Chaos-Music : Hi Tim how are you doing?
Doing real good, would like to be touring right now.
Chaos-Music : How are things in Beyond Fear at the moment?
Great, but like I said, I would like to be on the road promoting the new CD, But it has been real good with the whole thing
Chaos-Music : Before Beyond Fear, did the other members took part in other activities??
I had other people working on this with me at one time, some area guy's that are some of the best but just could not do it full time
Chaos-Music : Can you tell us about the influences that made you want to become a singer?
Well it was just rock and metal..bands like BTO and Kiss..then Priest and Dio and Maiden and Soundgarden
Chaos-Music : Please tell us a little bit about your Beyond Fear album.....tell us your opinion about the songs, sound, cover artwork etc....
Well it is the best CD I have done and it has gotten the best reviews so I'm real happy with it! It is straight forward matal, the kind I love and that goes for everything from the name to the cover!
Chaos-Music : Which bands had (still have) the biggest inspiration on your songwriting?
I really don't think any of them..I mean I love old priest and Dio and Sabbath but I don't listen to much music..I just write
Chaos-Music : Are you thinking about recording the next Beyond Fear album ?
My Guitar player John is always' thinking about it, but I need to think about the next IE cd..but when Iced Earth is done..Beyond Fear will be ready to go right in the studio and get it don and tour for a freaking year
Chaos-Music : Do you have any particular target like on which country do you want Beyond Fear to be well known or something like that?
Well I would love for it to do good in America, but we don't really have the support for that here! But really I just want it to do good anywhere, I'm not picky
Chaos-Music : Let's talk about your early stuff...How were you invited to Judas Priest? And Was it hard to adjust with the members of Judas priest?
They got an video of me and it kinda rolled from there..next thing I know I'm in whale trying out for them! It was just a great time and I got along great with them..weird that we have lost contact now, being we where such great friends then
Chaos-Music : How was the reaction of the fans after the release of "Demolition"?
Some loved it or hated it..I loved it..
Chaos-Music : How did you feel when you were in stage for the first time with Judas Priest?
I was a little nervous but it felt great and boy was I ready, I wanted to blow people away.
Chaos-Music : How did your relationship with Jon Schaffer started? And what do you think about him as a bandmate and human being?
I met Jon on the Jugulator tour..him an Matt came to the show! Jon is a great guy and a good friend! Jon is a cool bandmate but better then that he really is a good human being!
Chaos-Music : What happened after the release of "The Glorious Burden" ? How did the fans like the new Iced Earth?
Well it was the best selling IE cd..and I think it's the Best overall..It was a great reaction and the touring was cut short because of Jons back but the touring we did was just great!
Chaos-Music : About Heavy Metal, what do you think about the evolution of this genre?
Nice to see it still around..a little heavy for me but great bands out there..It is better then it was in 1996 when I made JP
Chaos-Music : How could you explain that all these poseurs pretending to play Heavy Metal of nowadays try to copy the voice of IRON MAIDEN or HELLOWEEN?
Well if you don't sound like that people get mad and call it new metal..I hope somebody does sound like that, at least they are singing
Chaos-Music : Now i will give you some names and you tell me what comes to your mind :
Rob Halford: Great guy and mentor
Richard Christy: Wacky dude but cool as hell
You: Doing my best
Glenn Tipton: Great friend and we had some real good times
Blaze Bayley: Nice guy and got a bad rap
Chaos-Music : Who are some of the current metal bands that you enjoy today?
Trivium, Dio, Soundgarden, Anthrax, Priest etc.
Chaos-Music : What can we expect from you in the near and distant future?
Beyond Fear to take over
Chaos-Music : Thank you so much for taking the time to answer these questions. We appreciate that. So what do you want to say at to your moroccan supporters?
Cheers and I wish you all the best of luck! Thanks to all..and remember that this Beyond Fear cd is real metal and it's from the heart, it is not fake like others..so get it now
Tim
